Nadia Elena Comaneci
At the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, the athlete became an international sensation after scoring the first perfect ten in the world of sports. She went on to achieve six other perfect 10 which made her the youngest Olympic overall gold medalist who was just 14. Comaneci didn't just attract attention from all over the world, she also put Romania onto the map. The achievement of an impossible score made this sports icon famous and popularized gymnastics across all over the world. This changed the perception of female gymnasts. It was because of her influence during her participation in the Olympics that an uneven bar competition is named for two of the moves after her toe-on and release move, which remain classified as high-level level. Besides Olympics her performance was impressive. She also showed outstanding performance in the World Championships and European Championships and was subsequently the living legend of her time and one of the most well-known gymnasts the world could ever be privileged to. Following her move to the US, this 'Queen Of Olympics' took up modeling and sports equipment promotion.
